Next to his part time involvement with Erasmus MC Rob participates as legal counsel and co-founder in several startup companies in the Dutch biotechnology and healthcare sector.

With a background as legal counsel with Royal Nedlloyd Group, the Erasmus University of Rotterdam, Erasmus university Medical Center Rotterdam, as well as several management and advisory functions within the Erasmus University and Erasmus MC (including the Technology Transfer Office of the Erasmus MC) Rob has acquired extensive experience drafting, negotiating and managing contracts in the biotechnology sector. Rob majored in private and corporate law at the Erasmus University of Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
